Fruit Trees are here for 2024!
These are very special NZ Heritage Fruit Trees collected by Kōanga over the past 30 plus years. Our trees are grown organically in a way that regenerates the land they were grown in. You can support our ongoing maintenance and development of our fruit tree collection by purchasing trees from us.
Please note:
All of our Koanga heritage fruit trees are sent out beginning early July until they are all out, always by mid August. The orders go out in the order they come in. Our fruit trees are grown in the open ground and can only be dug up when dormant ( late June) . This grows a superior tree and makes our trees a lot cheaper to send out then trees in pots. All of our fruit trees are marked with a white dot on the North side of the trunk, so that you can plant them facing the same way they grew in the nursery. The main fruit tree roots align with the magnetic field of the earth facing North South. This means your trees will be stronger and more capable of growing to their potential than if they are not facing the way they grew in the nursery
