Learning to live simply and learning to eat following the principles of traditional peoples as taught by the Weston Price Foundation and us in our “Reclaim Your Health – Learn to design your own nutrient dense diet and how to prepare traditional foods for human health” Workshop is a very exciting journey towards human and ecological health. Part of that journey is learning how to store our food in simple low tech ways that mean we have great tasting, nourishing food when we need it, as our ancestors used to do. 

We’ve been working with this  for several years now and will share our favourite recipes and techniques with you on this workshop.

We’ll cover all traditional storage techniques such as lactic fermentation, non electric cool  storage, and preserving in salt, oil, vinegar and drying. You will have some surprises as you taste a range of our own traditionally stored food, including  honey mead, cider, vinegar, pickled meat, salami, bacon and dried berries, fruits and vegetables, oil and salt pickled vegetables, many ferments and much more! It will be a very exciting workshop with our boundaries being challenged in all directions!!!!

Please note: The Workshop will be confirmed two weeks before it begins. If circumstances prevent the Workshop from going ahead, enrolment fees will be refunded in full.

Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel their place at a workshop with more than three weeks notice will be given an 85% refund, however cancellations after this time can only be refunded 50% of the course fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours, no refund can be given.
