Dry Selugia

Selugia: climbing; dry

(P.vulgaris )

NZ Heritage

Another special NZ heritage bean that has come in to us from many places around NZ, but first from Willow of Tapuaetahi Beach in Kerikeri. Willow said it had orginally come in with an Italian family in the north after the war. It is a specialty drying bean. It’s a small dark (almost black) bean with browny purple streaks on it Outstanding flavour - great for re-fried beans. (20)
