Oats and Vetch - Carbon Crop PackHeritageThis is a great combination for Winter carbon crops. Vetch is a vigorous nitrogen fixer, creating 'amazing' soil structure. Oats are especially good for NZ soils because they unlock and concentrate calcium and phosphate, two minerals that are almost always in short supply. Oats are a great carbon source when grown the the seed stage. (Enough seed to plant 30m sq of garden bed.) Please note: This seed has not been grown by Koanga - it is conventionally grown seed that has been grown in New Zealand. We include it in our range of Carbon Crops to make it available to Home Gardeners in New Zealand... Organic vetch is unavailable this year. Save your own seed for next year! |
