This is the old yellow maize remembered by many especially older Maori who often ate it fermented. This corn was kept alive by Koro on the Coromandel and passed to us. We’ve been bulking it up again to pass back to his family. It is the only New Zealand heirloom pure yellow maize I know of, and over the years I’ve had many requests for it. Thanks Koro! (50)
