Neem (Essential) Oil 200ml100% pure and natural essential oil
Neem Oil is a biologically safe systemic pesticide when used in accordance with given instructions. This bottle contains enough Neem Oil to make up to 35 litres of garden spray.
Neem Oil will not instantly kill the insects until they bite into the leaf but it will instantly repel them with its strong smell. It also kills them over time by affecting the reproductive ability of the generation being sprayed. Most insects have short reproductive cycles so you will have an impact on insect populations within weeks. Spraying shield bugs as soon as the first generation hatches will mean you don't get the second generation(the devastating one) hatching.
Neem Oil pesticide has been known to kill and control aphids, moth larvae, spider mites, whiteflies, and shield Bugs. It will not harm insects that do not chew the leaves or suck the sap, like butterflies, ladybugs and bees.
Neem oil can also be used to rub on animals to kill insect infestations eg tic’s, fleas and lice.(note that insects feeding on animals is assign of a sulphur deficiency so your animal also needs a minerals ( including sulphur added to diet)
Directions for use as plant pesticide
Place 2 litres of warm water into sprayer Add ½ teaspoon of a mild liquid soap (dissolve 1 tspn of Lux flakes or Sunlight soap etc in hot water) and mix it up and then add 15mls of Neem oil slowly into the water while stirring or shaking it up. Use within 8 hours or it will lose its potency. Spray the all of the leaves on the top and bottom and the soil surface too. Always spray early in the morning or early evening to avoid scaring off the good bugs and scorching the plant in the hot sun. Make sure to shake it while spraying to keep it mixed well and repeat spraying them once a week or more if it rains.
Directions for use to relieve animals of insect infestations.
Mix Neem Oil 1:5 with sesame oil which means that the properties of the neem oil will not break down as fast in sunlight. Put into a plastic squirty bottle, and squirt onto the animal around behind ears and along back and areas where infestation is worst and rub in vigorously.
