Garden Spade - Hand Forged SteelThe spade head is solid forged from a single piece of steel and has a one pice of hardwood shaft that is split to form a D-handle. The treads on the blade will help to protect the soles of your boots when digging (and make the job more comfortable!). These are the best spades available in NZ, will withstand a lifetime of double digging! Approx.101cm x 20cm, weighs 2.25kg. This fork has been hand forged by Clarington Forge in the UK, where they have been making high quality tools for more than 800years. These tools are manufactured using a unique specification steel which results in exceptionally strong tool heads, with the flexibility to absorb all the shock and pressure of hard work, without distorting or breaking. We're really happy to make these fantastic tools available in NZ. |
