The course was so exciting for me on many different levels, I learnt so much more than I ever anticipated. The permaculture teaching was beautifully woven along with a strong Weston A Price approach to food, and Kay’s very specific knowledge on gardening techniques to grow nutritious food we all need. It was an amazing holistic blend of wisdom, knowledge, spiritual, emotional and practical components. It gave me a vision for a future that I’m excited about. aroha KJ
This course was a very emotional, passionate, informative, 12 day, 12 hours per day course. This has been a life changing experience. I write on behalf of Kirsten and I who have been truly inspired by you both, Kay and Bob. It is a very rare experience to encounter such giving people with such passion and knowledge, which is truly an honour to be part of such visionary thinking.

I have attempted to grow organic vegetables for many years with varying success and like you, have thought I was missing something as I had insect problems, lack of vigour and some total failures and a feeling that I wasn’t getting nutritious crops despite using my own compost and liquid fertiliser etc etc. The principles that you shared with us make a lot of sense and have me excited to incorporate it into my own garden. This is something that should be on everyone’s agenda – having access to nutrient dense food is the key to our health and well being. So thank you, thank you, thank you for your wisdom, passion and generosity in sharing such an important life’s work.

It was something I had been promising to do for years – I was not disappointed with the Growing Nutrient Dense Food workshop in Albany. Well organized and well presented with access to lots of other Koanga material. I’ll do another for sure!

Thank you immensely Kay, Mel and Tamsin for your extraordinary contribution in educating people to possibly the single most important thing here and now.
I was very excited to attend these three workshops in Tauranga last month (Design your own food forest, Biointensive gardening, and Growing nutrient dense food) and went there with the intention to learning how to live more sustainably and reconnecting with the land. I never anticipated to what extent it would resonate in me and how I would walk home with a new life purpose: Growing soil and teaching children about their relationship to the soil, getting growing and getting cooking together.
Every workshop was amazing and packed full of practical info, fascinating facts and contagious enthusiasm. Learning about Growing Nutrient Dense Food in particular has been a very powerful experience. Understanding the relationship between our health and the the health of the soil makes absolute sense and answers most questions on how to recover holism, balance, harmony and health in our societies. And the most amazing part of that realisation was to learn the solution is available to all of us, starting in our backyards. That was the start of a new dawn for me!! Best news ever!
Also, I can not recommend enough every one of Kay’s books, booklets, and garden planner. They are extremely well put together, easy to read, easy to search to to find specific info and hold a wealth of practical info. I am a beginner gardener and I feel very well supported in growing a successful garden starting now!
Thank you so much!!! Arohanui, Amandine.

I have bought a lot of your seeds, this last summer. Thank you, they have been great. Our family has really enjoyed an abundance of vegetables.
You may be interested to have a look at my blog. It is on food, but I have a folder on my garden. I hope you enjoy it.
