Mustard - Carbon Crop Pack

Mustard is an excellent crop for many reasons on top of being a carbon/compost crop. Mustard makes both calcium and phosphate more available to the plant roots (from previously unavailable sources in the soil), and it is also a great crop to plant specifically before potatoes, kumara and other root crops. Mustard flowers are also superfood for all the beneficial insects in your garden including the bees. Mustard can be planted in every month except the hot dry period in summer and the very cold of mid winter.
